Don’t miss this tour! Enjoy an Inspirational stop at the Billy Graham Library en route to Savannah Georgia “The gem of the South”. You will enjoy a guided tour of Savannah as well as a riverboat cruise and be given plenty of opportunity to explore on your own as well. This charming southern coastal town comes alive around the holidays with one of the best Christmas light displays in the country!
We will also take time to visit Wormsloe, the neat historical site with a funny name. A breathtaking avenue sheltered by live oaks and Spanish moss leads to the tabby ruins of Wormsloe, the colonial estate of Noble Jones (1702–1775). Jones was a humble carpenter who arrived in Georgia in 1733 with James Oglethorpe and the first group of settlers from England. Wormsloe's tabby ruin is the oldest standing structure in Savannah.
Plenty more to come on this itinerary as it is completed sometime near the end of August.
